File Library Management - FAQs

All users will have the following root folders:

  • My Files – subfolders and content only accessible at the user level and each user will have access to 1 GB of storage.  
  • Shared Files – subfolders and content accessible by any user within an account and each account will have access to 5 GB of storage.
  • Stock Images – Images that can be used within a campaign by any user but only an Data Axle System Admin can upload, download, modify or delete content
  • Root folders cannot be deleted, renamed or moved by a user

All users will have the following subfolders within My Files and Shared Files:

  • Creative – users can store any multi-channel campaign assets and content
  • Documents – users can store any marketing and/or sales related documents and/or files
  • Images – users can store their campaign images
  • Reports – users to store marketing and/or sales related reports
  • Subfolders can be deleted, renamed and modified by the user

Uploading (Import)

Drag and drop functionality – drag & drop any image, doc, file from your desktop or explore to the Upload Files modal.  Must drop in upload modal cannot drag and drop directly into the explorer window

Multiple files can be uploaded at the same time.


Additional File Management Options

  • Add File – by selecting the Add button and clicking on your file
  • Creating Folders – by clicking the New Folder icon or right clicking within File Library and clicking on New Folder
  • Renaming Folders or Files – by selecting the folder or file and clicking on the Rename icon or right clicking on the selected folder or file and clicking on Rename
  • Deleting Folders or Files – by selecting the folder or file and clicking on the Delete icon or right clicking on the selected folder or file and clicking on Delete
  • Downloading Files – by selecting the file and clicking on the Download icon or right clicking on the selected file and clicking on Download
  • Preview Files – by selecting the file and clicking on the Preview icon or right clicking on the selected file and clicking on Preview.  File will be viewable using built in file viewer (view only).
  • Open Files – by selecting the file and clicking on the Open icon or right clicking on the selected file and clicking on Open.  File will be viewable using user’s desktop application
  • Copy/Cut/Paste – by selecting the folder or file and clicking on either Copy, Cut or Paste icons within the header toolbar or right clicking and selecting the appropriate option
  • Compression –  by selecting the folder or file and clicking on the Add to Zip icon within the header toolbar or right clicking and clicking the Add to Zip option
  • Basic Search – by selecting the folder you want to search in and using the Search box.  Only searches for specific filename within a selected folder
